About the role
A large business consulting and services company in the United States is hiring for this role. You will own monthly revenue accounting for fixed-fee and hourly work and keep project revenue records accurate. You will also help strengthen the revenue accounting policies and processes the team relies on.
What you'll do
- Record and review monthly fixed-fee and hourly revenue
- Reconcile contracts, billings and revenue at the project and client levels
- Maintain accurate project revenue-recognition attributes
- Support revenue assurance, controls, audits and forecasting
- Develop and improve revenue accounting policies and processes
What you bring
- Senior-level experience in revenue accounting
- Working knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition
- Attention to detail when reconciling contracts, billings and revenue
- Familiarity with controls and audit support
- Comfort improving accounting policies and processes
