About the role
A large manufacturing company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will own the month-end close, reporting and forecasting for the logistics function, and you will improve the financial tools and processes the team relies on. You will work closely with logistics teams and senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Manage the logistics month-end close, reporting and forecasting
- Perform variance analysis and lead site performance reviews
- Improve and automate financial tools and processes
- Partner with logistics teams and senior stakeholders on planning and cost-saving initiatives
- Provide financial guidance and training, and support audits
What you bring
- Experience in financial analysis, forecasting and variance analysis
- Month-end close and financial reporting experience
- Ability to build or improve and automate financial tools and processes
- Comfort advising senior stakeholders and operational teams
