About the role
A large IT services and IT consulting company in Whitby is hiring for this role. You will build and run the data platform on Microsoft Fabric, from ingestion through to Power BI reporting, and keep it reliable for the people who depend on it.
What you'll do
- Build and operate Microsoft Fabric data pipelines and lakehouse models.
- Manage ingestion, transformation, data quality and monitoring across the platform.
- Improve platform reliability and the processes that support it.
- Develop Power BI semantic models, reports and automated reporting workflows.
- Maintain documentation and work with stakeholders on platform enhancements.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including pipelines and lakehouse models.
- Experience building Power BI semantic models and reports.
- A working approach to data quality, monitoring and reliability.
- Clear documentation habits and the ability to work with stakeholders.
