A large software development company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will review AI-generated analyses on real datasets and judge whether the methods, assumptions and conclusions hold up. Where they do not, you will write the analysis that should have been produced.
What you'll do
- Evaluate AI-generated analyses on real datasets
- Check method selection, assumptions and statistical validity
- Test whether conclusions follow from the data
- Identify flawed reasoning and explain where it breaks down
- Write rigorous replacement analyses with clear takeaways and honest statements of uncertainty
What you bring
- Strong grounding in statistics and data analysis
- Sound judgment on choosing methods and testing assumptions
- Ability to spot reasoning errors in analytical work
- Clear written communication, including about uncertainty
